The homelessness crisis in Saratoga Springs has become an unmitigated disaster.

We cannot continue down the path of the Ron Kim administration, which has failed our City and been detrimental to the functionality of our homeless courts. These courts offer the essential framework of help that drive individuals towards more prosperous lifestyles. We must offer support to those with mental health issues and empower those who need the resources to become contributing members of society.

We can no longer allow individuals to linger on our streets when we have the ability to direct them to places where they can acquire vital skills for success. It is imperative that we use our abilities to collaborate with nonprofits like RISE and actively foster direction and confront this issue. Under a Safford administration, we will embark on a truly compassionate path, enabling individuals to forge improved lives.
